Searching for homes near Fort Knox KY? There are some great houses here; Rineyville, KY is not a large town. There is a nice Rineyville community park and they renovated the elementary school. Rineyville KY has great access to Elizabethtown KY taking route 1600 which will bring you right behind Hardin Memorial Hospital. If you want to go to the North end of e-town you can take route 220 (about 4 miles) until it ends on 31w (Dixie Highway). This will put you almost exactly between Radcliff Kentucky and Etown. Taking a left on 31w will give you access to I-65 (to Louisville or Nashville) taking 313 (Joe Prather highway). Passing 313 will bring you to Radcliff which is right outside of Fort Knox KY. Brandenburg, KY is not very far from Rineyville.
Rineyville, Kentucky homes tend to have larger lots than homes in Elizabethtown and Radcliff or even Hardin County homes for sale in general. LaVista Subdivision is an area with great real estate. The home prices are in line with similar homes in Hardin County. It is a great alternative to Fort Knox, Kentucky housing
Story of a Rineyville KY Real Estate Closing
03-30-2007 We had a closing scheduled for Thursday and the closing documents did not make it to the lender from the underwriter in time. The buyers had the moving company scheduled to arrive Friday and they could not close. We decided to close at the property Friday at 10am while the movers were unloading. Thankfully when we arrived, the movers already had the dining room table setup so we had a closing table. Well things happen and the closer from the title company was late. We reviewed the revised HUD at the table and someone noticed the seller’s amounts were incorrect. The closer reviewed the mistake and said, “I guess I will see you tomorrow”. We decided that it would be best to finish signing all of the other documents right then. We had the closer call the title company and correct the HUD (closing statement) and have him email it to HardinHomes. I rushed back to my RE/MAX Executive Group office (which was only about 6 miles away) to print it out. I arrived as the parties were finishing signing. Conflict avoided – hey you never know what will happen during a real estate deal.
